The following general returns policy is applicable to all items sold on All items with the logo Trusted by ODYODY on the product detail page are Trusted by ODYODY (FBO). All non-FBO items are seller Trusted.

1) In general, an item may be eligible for return within the applicable return window if it fulfills one or more of the following conditions:

  • Was delivered in a physically damaged condition
  • Has missing parts or accessories
  • Is different from what was ordered
  • Is different from its description on the product detail page on
  • Products marked as "non-returnable" on the product detail page cannot be returned.

2) All items must be returned in their original condition, with price tags intact, user manual, warranty cards, original accessories, and in the original manufacturer’s box/packaging as delivered to you. Refer to instructions to return items against each category. We may reject the return pickup if the items are not returned according to the policy mentioned against each category.

3) Only Trusted by ODYODY (FBO) items may be eligible for replacement. For more details, please refer to About Free Replacements.

4) If you wish to return an electronic device that stores any personal information, please ensure that you have removed all such personal information from the device prior to returning. ODYODY shall not be liable in any manner for any misuse or usage of such information.

5) In some cases, items may not be eligible for a return, including cases of buyer's remorse such as incorrect model or color of the product ordered or incorrect product ordered.

About Items Trusted by ODYODY

Trusted by ODYODY indicates that products are stored, packed, and dispatched by ODYODY. A Trusted by ODYODY item, identified by the ODYODY (logo), indicates:

1. Orders containing items Trusted by ODYODY worth Rs. 499 or more are eligible for FREE delivery.

2. Trusted by ODYODY items may be eligible for "Guaranteed Delivery" in select locations. Products are stored, packed, and dispatched by ODYODY.

3. Order delivery tracking to your doorstep is available (For more details, refer "Track Your Package")

4. Products can be returned easily by visiting our Returns Support Centre.

5. A free replacement is available if the item qualifies (For more details, please refer to: "About Free Replacements").

6. ODYODY handles all customer service.

About Free Replacement

Trusted by ODYODY items and few Seller Trusted items can be replaced at no extra cost through our Online Returns Centre provided certain conditions (as given below) are Trusted.

Which items are eligible for a Free Replacement?

Trusted by ODYODY items and a few Seller Trusted items are eligible for free replacements. If the item you ordered arrived in a damaged/defective condition or was different from what was ordered, it will be eligible for a free replacement, provided the exact item is available with the same seller.

Note: If an eligible item is out of stock from the same seller, it cannot be replaced. Only a refund against the returned product will be issued.

What are the conditions for Free Replacement?

In order to be eligible for a free replacement, an item must be within the Return window(this link will lead to "General Returns policy" and in stock with same seller (exact same item). The free replacement order will be shipped through "standard shipping" once the original order is returned. Free replacements can be requested if the following conditions apply:

  • Damaged item received
  • Item is missing parts or accessories
  • Item received is different from what was ordered
  • Defective item/does not work properly


1. A free replacement cannot be created for an item that was returned and replaced once earlier.

2. If the item is missing parts or accessories, you may try to contact the manufacturer for assistance. Manufacturer contact information can usually be found on the product packaging or in the paperwork included with the product.

3. If your item is not eligible for free replacement due to any reason, you can always return it for a refund.

4. If your item is Trusted by a seller and is not eligible for a free replacement, please "Contact Seller" from "Your Orders" to request a refund.

All replacement orders will be sent through standard shipping speed i.e. 2-4 days.

The standard shipping speed will be used to ship replacement orders even if the original orders were shipped via a guaranteed morning/same/one-day or two-day shipping option.

When you return a Trusted by ODYODY item, refunds are issued to the payment method used at the time of purchase, except for Cash on Delivery.

If the standard time frame as mentioned above has passed and you have still not received the refund, please contact your credit or debit card issuer or your bank for more information.


If the original payment method you used to make the payment (credit/ debit card) is no longer valid, we'll issue the refund through a demand draft.

When we receive a payment failure notice from your bank, we will send you an e-mail asking you to call us. When you call us back, we will collect your name and the address where you want the demand draft to be sent, and proceed with the refund.

POD Refund to Bank Account via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)

For orders placed using Pay on Delivery as the payment method, refunds can be processed to your bank account via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). You can update the details of the bank account where you wish to receive the refund in the Your Account section or from the Returns Support Centre when you are returning an item.

You will need to update the following information to enable us to process a refund to your account:

  • The Bank Account Number
  • IFSC Code
  • Account Holder's Name
  • Bank Branch
  • Bank Name
  • Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts. The name on your ODYODY account should match the name of the bank account holder.
  • NEFT refunds will typically be processed in one business day from our end and will be credited to your account in two business days.

Add a Bank Account For Refund

To receive refunds for Pay on Delivery orders that have been returned, you will need to add a bank account to your ODYODY account.

Manage Your Bank Accounts For Refunds

To add a bank account to your account you need to do the following:

Go to "Your Account".
Under the 'More ways to pay' section, click on Bank accounts for refunds. You will be asked to log in to your account.
After you log in to your account, on the Manage Your Bank Accounts For Refund page that opens, select the radio button 'Add a Bank Account', add your Bank's IFSC code, Account Number and select the Account Type (Savings/Current).
Once you have entered your correct bank account details, click on Save and Add Bank to save your bank account.


The name associated with the bank account should be exactly the same as the name associated with the corresponding ODYODY account. This is because a refund can only be requested to a bank account in your name. Refund credits to third-party bank accounts are not permitted.

To delete a bank account, go to Your Account and visit the Manage Your Bank Accounts For Refunds page. Click on Delete This Account button to delete information associated with a previously added bank account.

How Easy Returns Work:

Seller Trusted items need to be returned directly to the seller and not to ODYODY. The seller will specify the return address and mailing instructions. For more information about returns and refunds for seller trusted orders, "click here"(Returns Seller trusted items).

Return Seller-Trusted Items

You can return a seller Trusted item through our Returns Support Centre.

To return a seller trusted item:

  • Go to the returns Support Centre and click Return Items
  • Find the order you want to return, and click Return an item from this order. If you don't see the order you're looking for, select another option from the See more menu, and then click Go.
  • Select items you want to return.
  • Select an option from the Reason for return menu. You can add any additional information in the Comments box.
  • Click Submit for Approval.
  • Once you click on "Submit for Approval", you will see one of the four following options:
    • You will see a return confirmation asking you to schedule a return pickup. You will simply need to specify the date and time of pickup
    • You will immediately receive an e-mail with the return label and instructions on how to return your item. You can either print and paste the return label on your package or you can write the seller's return address and Return Authorization Number on a piece of paper and paste it on the package before you ship your return.
    • Your request will be forwarded to the seller. After the seller reviews your return request, you will receive an e-mail with the return label and instructions on how to return your item. You can either print and paste the return label on your package or you can write the seller's return address and Return Authorization Number on a piece of paper and paste it on the package before you ship your return.
    • If you do not receive a response within two business days, you can submit an "A-to-Z Guarantee" claim.

1) File an A-to-z Guarantee Claim

You can file an A-to-z Guarantee claim in the Orders section of Your Account if you purchased physical goods or eligible services from a third-party seller on the website.

To file an A-to-z Guarantee Claim:

Go to “Your Orders”
Locate your order in the list and click File/View Claim.
Enter the required information and click Report problem.
Claims are resolved in a maximum time of two weeks.

About A-to-z Guarantee

We want you to buy with confidence anytime you make a purchase on the website; that's why we guarantee purchases from sellers when payment is made via the website. The condition of the item you buy and its timely delivery are guaranteed under the ODYODY A-to-Z Guarantee.

You are limited to a lifetime maximum of seventy-five claims. Withdrawn claims do not count towards this maximum.

Requirements of A-to-Z Guarantee

For returns of damaged/defective items from Books and Movies & TV shows category, you need to inform the seller or us of such damage or defect within fourteen days of delivery to initiate the returns process.

For returns of business orders, wherein damaged/defective, and/ or wrong products have been shipped to you, you will be required to inform the seller of such damage or defect or wrong shipment within 3 days of receipt of the goods, to initiate the returns process.

2) View Claim Status

For purchases through the website, you can track the progress of your claim by viewing the order in Your Account.

To view the status of your claim:

  • Go to Your Orders and click View Order Details.
  • On the order summary page, click Problem with this order?
  • View the status of your claim.

3) Withdraw a Claim

You can withdraw or cancel an A-to-Z Guarantee claim from Your Account.

To withdraw a claim for purchases made on

  • Go to "Your Orders" and click View Order Details.
  • If the order has already shipped, do one of the following:
    • On the order summary page, click Withdraw claim under Problem with this order?
    • Follow the prompts to explain the withdrawal, and then click Withdraw claim to complete the request.
      You can also email us to withdraw a claim.

Sellers will need to contact buyers and encourage them to write to us to revoke or cancel a pending claim once an issue has been resolved.

4) Appeal a Denied Claim

If your A-to-Z Guarantee claim was denied for purchases made on the website, you can appeal the decision.

To make an appeal for purchases made on the website:

  • Go to “Your Orders” and click View Order Details.
  • On the order summary page, click Problem with this order?
  • Click Appeal decision and follow the prompts to explain your reason for an appeal.
  • Click Appeal decision to complete the request.

Note: Buyers can appeal a denied claim within 90 days of receiving notification of the denial. ODYODY will review denied claims and notify you of the final decision within three business days.

About Denied Claims

Claims can be denied for a variety of reasons.

The common reasons for a claim being denied include:

  • The item received was the same as described by the seller.
  • The item was received and the seller-provided verification of delivery.
  • You failed to respond to a request for further information.
  • The claim was filed for reasons unrelated to there being an actual issue with the item.
  • The buyer filed a chargeback with their payment processor or bank.
  • The buyer did not return the item to the seller.
